Razer Megalodon 7.1 Headset Win7 64bit Bug

The Megalodon is Razers premium headset its 7.1 that really works on a headset, I’ve had other 7.1 headsets and expensive 2.1 gaming headsets in the past, but this is by far best audio I have heard on a headset.

I was having audio cut outs every 30mins using the megalodon which was very irritating esp when clan gaming really pissing me off alt+tabbing the restarting TS ARGHHHH RAGE! tried upgrading to the new drivers & looked everywhere online for a solution seemed the only thing out there was to buy a powered USB Hub well I did last night been playing BFBC2 for a few hours now so must have worked ahh so happy now thought I had to buy a new heaset which would have been a absolute bullshit solution esp downgrading to something 2.1/shitter audio quality.

* UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive (Game client traffic)
* UDP 27015 to 27030 inclusive (Typically Matchmaking and HLTV)
* TCP 27014 to 27050 inclusive (Steam downloads)

Dedicated or Listen Servers

* TCP 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)

In addition to the required ports for Steam, Modern Warfare 2 requires the following ports for multiplayer:

* UDP 1500 (outbound)
* UDP 3005 (outbound)
* UDP 3101 (outbound)
* UDP 28960

Open Nat:

* TCP 27014-27050
* UDP 1500, 3005, 3101, 27000-27030, 28960

PunkBuster reports PB Server Running Old version c2.065

Wow what a pain in the ass! if you happen to be running – COD4 server on centOS 5.2/5.3 with cPGS and punkbuster will not update do this!

Download this “http://cpgs.cpanel.net/pbsetup.run” and upload to your COD4 PunkBuster directory;

cd /home/username/.gameservers/cod4_#/
wget http://cpgs.cpanel.net/pbsetup.run

./pbsetup.run --i-accept-the-pb-eula -ag cod4 -ap "/home/username/.gameservers/cod4_#"

Run the PB update:

./pbsetup.run --i-accept-the-pb-eula -u

Checks to see if its updated?

./pbsetup.run --i-accept-the-pb-eula -l

*Apparently there is a bug running Windows 7 (RTM/7600 x64Bit) sidebar gadgets that use Flash (SWF) so not working for me ATM.

*Widget planned modifications/updates:

- Facebook banner/badge (Flash timer) done see above.
- Adding Twitter functionality to the widget – no time to do this ATM so probably won’t happen.
- News feed real-time news marquee with confirmed updates/new from infinity ward – might still add this or either the Twitter live feeds.
- Screen Saver
- Vista/Windows 7 – sidebar gadget, use the one above but I have a few new features so building my own.

Anyone else have any other suggestions let me know…

Can’t connect to Battlefield Heroes beta “Error, Unable to Connect (1002)”

If you cannot connect to battlefield heroes beta and getting this error:

"Error, Unable to Connect (1002)".

You will need to ensure you have done the following:

a) authenticated your beta key and merged it with your active EA account.
b) created a/your “Hero” http://play.battlefield-heroes.com/user/createHero.
c) Installed the browser plug-in IE | Firefox.
d) Launching the game directly from the “Battlefield Heroes” website: “https://play.battlefield-heroes.com/playnow” (hit the big yellow “play now!” button).

Resident Evil 5 PC Release Date!

According to GAME.net they say it will be in UK stores; 4/2009 – somehow i don’t expect this will be the case they don’t even have the official cover? (thats an old cover for the PS2 game that got released).

I was hoping it would have made the same release date as the 13th March.. seen as my Xbox 360 Elite has RROD I won’t be-able to play it until they release the PC version – Just hope Ubisoft isn’t doing it last time they did the port on th RES4 and that was pretty bad and to top it off it was released 2 years after the release date on the Gamecube.. haha
